We’re still a relatively young company. Our parent company is Columbus Telephone Company, Inc. CTC was started by a group of Cherokee County farmers in 1905 and has been leading the telecommunications industry ever since. The company was one of the first to have a dial-tone switch in the late 1950’s, one of the first to launch Internet service in the early 1990’s and the first 100% fiber-optic network in 2004. Clearly, innovation is within the fabric of our enterprise.

CTC launched the Optic Communications brand in 2014, tasking it with expanding CTC’s world-class core network to new areas. Currently, we are available in Columbus, KS., Galena, KS., Riverton, KS., Pittsburg, KS., and Loma Linda, MO. We’re so excited to make Carl Junction, MO. our next stop.
